The missions of the Victor Rivera Foundation is to provide under-resourced people living with MS access to neurologic and neuro-eye services.

HOW AND WHO WE HELP

Provide under-resourced people of all ethnicities living with MS access to neurologic and neuro-eye services.

This includes individuals who are under insured, may have a deductible or lack health care benefits.

Ensure people with MS and similar diseases receive current and proven neurologic and neuro-eye protocols.

Focus on mentoring bilingual MS healthcare professionals.

Dr. Victor M. Rivera

MEET OUR HONOREE

Victor M. Rivera, MD, FAAN, Distinguished Emeritus Professor of
Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine, and Emeritus/Honorary
Neurologist at Houston Methodist Hospital, he is Senior Member
and Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and Founder
of the Mexican Academy of Neurology and the Latin American
Committee for Treatment and Research in MS (LACTRIMS). He
is the Founder and inaugural Director of the Maxine Mesinger
Multiple Sclerosis Comprehensive Care Center & Clinic of Baylor
College of Medicine. Prof. Rivera has been recognized with
unprecedented Lifetime Achievement Awards by both, the
Consortium of MS Centers and the National MS Society, being
inducted into the NMSS Hall of Fame as an “international soldier
of good fortune in the fight against multiple sclerosis…”
