HOUSTON (January 24) — Anyone who deals with multiple sclerosis in any capacity will not want to miss the inaugural open house for the Victor Rivera Foundation “MS Care for Those in Need” on Feb. 29. Held in conjunction with Neuro-Ophthalmology of Texas, the event will offer people with MS, family members, caregivers, self-help groups, doctors and others with an opportunity to interact with other like-minded people who work daily to defeat the debilitating autoimmune disease.

“There are so many talented and dedicated people in the field who are working extremely hard to help patients with MS,” Rivera said. “We want to bring everyone together to see how we can streamline the process for people in need who are seeking care, from the earliest diagnosis to quality-of-life treatment.

“Together we can accomplish so much more than we can as individuals and we’re confident this first open house will raise a tremendous amount of awareness in the MS community, which will ultimately allow us to take care of more people.”
